Project Overview
Rooted in memories of European travels and a deep connection to mid-Missouri's rolling, pastoral landscape.
The Modern Tudor Manor design carries the timeless spirit of Tudor architecture, yet feels contemporary, open, and grounded in place. We approached the design with a modern lens: large open plans, floor-to-ceiling glass, and a light, airy feel. Clean geometry defines the building's volume, creating a sense of clarity and modernity. This is paired with classical window proportions and finely detailed elements that tie the Tudor architecture style in.
Exterior
Bold forms define the exterior—rectangular volumes meet a gabled roof, while arches wrap around the pool in a crisp colonnade.

Layout
A cross-shaped layout separates shared and private spaces. The L-shaped form frames the pool, with arches and a pool house. A guest house sits on site, and a garage is tucked behind an arched drive-through.

Volume
The great room and master suite are stacked to form a bold volume that intersects with a transitional gable, creating expressive, pure geometry.

Living Room
The living room is thoughtfully centered around a large fireplace, anchoring the space as the heart of the home. It serves as a key social hub—where the family gathers to relax, connect, and share everyday moments. Light pours in from the south, casting shifting patterns across the walls and drawing out the texture and rhythm of the architecture.

Moments of Spaces
The home is centered around quiet connection—where the family room invites music and conversation, and the library, softly lit by northern light from the covered patio, offers a space for personal time.

Patio Space
Covered patios wrap the kitchen, dining, and rear of the home, forming a colonnade around the pool. Together, they create a central courtyard for outdoor cooking, dining, and gathering.

Entry & kitchen
Upon entering, a double-height foyer offers a clear view into the expansive great room. Opposite the entry, the kitchen is positioned to face three arched doors that open directly into the central courtyard.

Construction Progress
Construction began in 2023, with framing rising quickly and stone deliveries marking the next phase. As the interior spaces began to take shape, the vision of the home came into focus. Completion is projected for the end of 2025.
